Insufficient stock?
The backorder is created automatically
When stock does not cover the entire order, GSE-Web prepares what is available and automatically generates a numbered backorder for the remainder. Your customer sees everything on their portal.

When stock is not enough, everything gets complicated
Without automatic backorder management, a partially picked order creates three major problems.
Order blocked
The picker does not know what to do: ship the partial? Wait for replenishment? The order remains pending, the customer waits.
Customer not informed
The customer has no visibility. They receive an incomplete package without explanation, or worse, they wait without knowing their order has an issue.
Forgotten remainder
Without traceability, the missing remainder ends up on a sticky note or in an email. It is forgotten, never shipped, and stock remains incorrect.
Detection and automatic generation
GSE-Web checks stock line by line. If a quantity is insufficient, it picks the maximum available and creates a backorder for the rest.
Order received in GSE-Web
The movement note is created from the OMS portal or manually by the manager.
Stock check line by line
Each product is checked individually. Sufficient lines are marked green, insufficient ones orange.
Partial picking (status 4)
The picker confirms the available quantities. The note moves to status "partially picked" automatically.
Backorder -R1 generated automatically
GSE-Web creates a new note containing only the missing lines, with the calculated remaining quantities.
Shipment of the remainder
When stock is replenished, the backorder is picked and shipped normally. The loop is closed.
